The mortgage industry isnt doing bad at all right now. It's the tech industry that's really hurting. My friend works for a mortgage company and he's swamped with work.

Umm, I work at Eagle Home Mortgage Inc. We are one of the busiest mortgage companies around, we are really slow. I kinda want out of the mortgage bizz to be honest. Unless Slava offers me some high paying job or something. :)

I don't know about the pay but I think that we need some people. I got the resume and I forward it to my manager. If you want out of the mortgage business I can see if I can get you a job at circuit city or sound track. Also got a friend at Quality Auto Sound. I can ask him as well. Just let me know what you want.

There is always the option of unemployment. Its not much...better better than a sharp stick in the eye at least. If you go that route, make sure you file as soon as you work your last day at your current job. They are kinda slow..trust me. :p

I've got some awesome news. I have an awesome chance getting a job as Federal Corrections Officer here at the Federal Prison. :) I have cop in my blood, so I guess that's what I should do.

i think it takes forever to get on with them. i applied and got a 90% on the test. i then took the physical and one on one personal interview with the big boss in colorado springs. after i passed, it took them about a year for them to tell me that i can go take the endurance test. by that time i was already working at this body shop and going to school. im not trying to rain on your perade but that is the reality of the situation. it took me a lot of time to decide if i wanted to go take the final test but at the end, i knew i wouldnt be happy being a corrections officer. sure they start you at 2500. a month and pay for something like 80% of your college. but i didnt want to be a security officer in a jail:rolleyes: . kinda dangerous if you ask me. just my $0.02
do whatever makes you happy.

Jose,
I have connections to where I do not have to wait. Don't worry, I'm all over it. :) Besides, who cares about what kind of danger I am in? Not anyone I know. ;)
