well long story short, my buddy had some coolant leak into his block (d15b7) and its toast, so after some convincing he took the plunge and bought a b16a for his 93 civic hatch. We went to the hmotorsonline.com warehouse today and picked up, Yes, it is an automatic, hes gonna do the conversion a little later when his wallet feels a little fuller... but this is a big first step, wouldnt you agree?

heres the motor...

I think it would be kinda cool to have an automatic B16. I remember reading in a SCC about 5 years ago about a guy boosting 22psi on a stock EX motor with auto tranny, I would say its safe to assume that it didn't last very long though.

Ooooh, RHD. I saw a 2G CRX many years ago in Lakewood that was RHD. I had to give it a second look.

I wouldn't even bother with trying with an auto tranny... just do the 5sp conversion like you planned. Will be a fun car. :)
