Now let's see everyone get all worked up because some idiot on the Internet (ie me) said that domestics suck, and called them "duhmestics"...

And to play devil's advocate, here's some ignorance to piss off the import guys too:

-Billy Joe's Mustang will out corner your Honduh
-Only V8's are fast
-Racin' cars ain't no front wheel drive
-The 1/4 mile is the one and only test of a car's performance or worth
-They should make an "all NASCAR, all the time" channel

-Billy Joe is not smart enough to understand how VTEC works... and his Mustang is a slow, heavy POS that loses to the 6-Speed Civic Wagon AWD
-V8's are heavy noisemakers that produce lots of torque, and rev really slow, and have sucky throttle response. Besides... pushrods suck.
-FF is more stable than FR
-The mountian road is the one and only test of a car's performance or worth.
-Ever hear Dave Despain make fun of NASCAR on Wind Tunnel? NASCAR should get its own channel so we real car guys can have our Speed Vision back in all its former F1, CART, WRC, SCCA, and motorcycle racing glory. Get NASCAR out of Speed Channel!

i dont post very often, but i would just like to say that i am pretty much fed up with the constant pissing contest between imports and domestics. i think that if your into cars at all, your going to have a little love for every kind of car out there. myself, i like everything. i drive a 95 eclipse, and its my baby and all, but i would kill to have a 69 charger. so heres my 2 cents. if it goes fast, give it respect!

We do have an all NASCAR all the fucking time channel, I think they call it SPEEDCHANNEL now; which is fitting for how fast I go right by it now. Can the people who watch NASCAR even afford cable?

personally I would say that import owes a lot to domestics becasue chevelle, corvettes, chargers, etc started it all so who really cars about the people who are close minded about imports people were probably just as close minded about domestics when it started. however the ricers out there are the ones that give sportcompacts a bad name (the ones that shop in the pep boys apc isle). I used to own a 72 chevy pickup that I put alot of time and money into and a s10 blazer with chevy smallblock personally the is no challenge in building a v8 anymore everyone done it. I now own a 94 civ cx b18a and s80 trans with a vouple of old school spiffs like a dual out flowmaster and slight front to rear rake and it is different but I still get a lot of complements from v8 entusiasts. the only car that was never worth a shit was the mustang
