Whats up? I bought a car off of ebay and once i get it i find out it might be a piece so thats why im here cause i know there are some people out there who know alot about hondas. Ok well first things first.
The check engine light is on. Now im thinking this could be because of the catalitic converter its hallowed out and it looks like the wire isnt connected but any input on what it might be would be apprecated. And 2nd the cars exhaust the tip is black and you can see blue smoke coming out. Now is this also cause theres not cat or is the engine burning oil. ANY HELP WOULD be apprecated and Does any one here know how to do a leak down test i guess is what you call them to see if the engine is crap. Also it idles ruff and it has a race ecu. FUCK IM PISSED:guns:  Its a b18c if you need to know. Im going to have a cat put on this monday but i wanna know if i bought a piece of shit. AHHH

Where did the car come from? I brought my car from Texas and from the elevation it was running rich but a tune up fixed that.
The blue exhaust smoke, how dense (thick) is it?
If the O2 wire is not plugged in then it is obvious the check light is on for the O2 is not working properly, It will need to be plugged in or connected then the ECU reset, should fixe the problem...
Also what kind of car is the B18C in and what B18C is it B18C1 or C5?

Its a b18c1 actually the smoke is black i had some one step on the gas while i watched. So hopfully its from running rich from the 02 sensor not being hooked up and hopefully thats why its stalling because of the o2 sensor. Im getting all that fixed at minaki on monday. Does any one know were i can get an o2 sensor for cheap preferably new. The engine is in a 98 civic hb cx. And does any one know of any good junk yards in the littleton area besides svegils

Oh..and if I was you, I'd call Honnda Stuff and see if you can get someone to take a look at it down there who really knows hondas. You could have a whole list of other problems that may be waiting to spring up once you get a few of them fixed. :p

Im gonna get an estamate on what needs to be done with the wiring lost of missing sensors and there gonna let me know but if i have to persue legal actions i will. But i will be calling this kid once i get quated to tell him how much money hes going to wire back to me if he doesnt ill go from there. It sucks knowing you got ripped off.

to tell you the truth I don't like the paint job it is pretty rough but they did do a good job of getting the flares on there but I do like the color and it isn't that bad to look at each day
