Mirror finishes in the intake port negatively affect fuel atomization. Next time you wash your car spray a jet of water at the driveway and then spray your hood or windshield at roughly the same angle. Observe how much finer the water droplets that ricochet off the coarse driveway are compared to the water droplets that reflect off the smooth hood.
Liquid droplets also have a tendency to "stick" to a smooth surface where they wouldn't generally to a rough one.

How does it idle? When I tightened up the lash on a Z6 it idled low especially when hot. The increased duration decreased the vacuum in the manifold, which is why it did that. Adjusting the idle speed as outlined in the service manual fixed the problem.

the tach nedle goes up and down ,up and down, then when the car is hot the nedle drop to1000rpm for a while the the motor turns off

Check your Throtle body and the surrounding sensors.

Hmmm...My next suggestion would be to dissasemble the head and clean and re-lube the parts and put the stock cam back in to see if the problem persists. If it does, move on to the next possible problem.

i dad that too, what is the next possible problem??

I think it's real, and if it is, I caun gaurantee that that car screams. In fact, just the other day I was thinking that if I won the power ball, I would take Tobi up on his offer, and see if he could build a turbo one of those.

Try putting stock parts back in one by one and see if the problem goes away with each part you put back in. It might be easier to locate the problem that way.

i think the problem is the head, the intake ports are huge and the cam do not help either, i will put the factory head with the cam in it and see what happens aaaaiiiith

i remove the cam, test the car and the cars runs a 15.2@91mph.what the hell?i think that the job i perform on the intakes ports actually works. my best time was 15.5 @90mph, also whitout the cam.
so ,why the crower cam do not work with the intake job, it seems that i have fixed the polish problem, so why does this stupid cam does not make power??
any sugestions??
How wild of a cam is it? A street type cam will not affect the idle like a full race cam will. With all the lift and duration of a wild cam it will kill the vacuum and th e idle. Also did you degree the cam in or just put in and see what happens? Do you have an adjustable cam gear or a stock gear? If its adjustable did you try different settings? I have a friend that had to advance his intake gear 5 degrees to bring it into time with the crank, thats why it is important to degree the cam, it is a pain to do, but worth the time and money, that way the valves open at the right time. Also, one more thing, my car when I reset the ECU, wont idle untill I let it idle from cold to 180 degrees or drive it on the highway for a while. Good luck,
Gary

i play with the sproket a few times, but the cam never made good power, maybe if i spend a litle more time, who knows
the cam is a crower stage 2 and the head is milled .060
does this afect the cam timing??

thats the exact cam I have in my sohc and it does the low idle/die out problem too....try an adjustable cam gear and or advancing the timing via the distributor.....
also try this website....good article on fixing idle problems
www.hondaswap.com/~pills/idlefix.html
Yes milling the head does affect cam time quite a bit. I think for every .030 you take off, you have to adveance the cam gear one degree. But I do know that milling the head does retard the cam timing. Who did the work on your head?

when i install the head for the first time the cam timing was advanced 10 degrees or uno tuth in the sproket, so i retarded 10 degrees in order to make the car run normally, the bad news is that the ignition timing is stuck at 10 degrees since the cam is retarded 10 degrees. so the car have problems when i install the crower cam because the ign. timing is so retarded
right now i have a few ideas about about how to fix this problem
i will keep on posting

Looks like you have quite a bit of money invested into that car. Why didn't you just buy and S2k? Or is that not your car in the pics?
