My car is running. The turbo is sitting in the garage waiting to get installed once I have all the parts ready. My car is pretty rough(small paint chips in front and one non-tinted window. I am down for a cruise though.

mine's even worse. Rust,scratches,etc. But the worst is that the top of the front bumper is bent in so the hood has like a 2" gap from it on the pass. side. Ghetto but oh well. it's getting repainted tommorow flat black; that'll get rid of the rust/scratches, and hide the dents more. hehe. Im not gonna fix the dents cause I know I'm probably gonna add more when I drift. I'll just fix it all and repaint it later in life when i sell it. I got school so maybe we can cruise next weekend or some evening this week(not many cops even at 7pm.). I did a few 60-90mph runs at the canyon tonight. I just try and be nice to people on the road though, not tailgating their ass and revving as high as I can. Just following them calmly and heel-toeing the corners. hehe. Usually they pull off anyway. Alright sweet man. IM me sometime @ Number1Slackah for some cruise stuff.

Car isn't running, bought it with a blown head gasket, body is in great condition, just need a hood which has hail damage.
Weighing out all of the engine possibilities that are within my budget, which isn't much. A KA24DET sounds like my best bet.

well just got my car painted, but the front bumper dent is still there. I regret not taking the Front bumper off my clip and getting that painted w/ it; but oh well, it adds uniqueness(lol not really). Plus i dont want to rip a clip buyer off.

Hey if you get an SR swap, I'll sell you my HKS Hiper 85mm exhaust(for an S13 chassis, but SR20 engine), and the SR20 3" Downpipe(Both are brand new in the box) for like $610. I've been trying to get rid of these since I sold my clip!

WHats up 240 owners, im new here. i own a pretty much stock 89 240sx s13, header back exaust, intake, clutch, nothing to impressive ( stupid litttle black wing that i got for x-mas-its gonna go soon, MY CAR IS NOT A CESNA!). I just think it rocks that 240's are coming into the spotlight. Just as long as they dont become as popular as Hondas (no offence to Hondas by the way). PS. I drift with stock diff...not very well...but I don't see much of a difference(probably because I don'tt have a diff..) And open diff basically means no diff...the only prob is only one wheel is spinning...making it difficult.

I just got a 1997 240sx se, and i was wondering what swapp would be the best?? i am only making this a weekend, street dragger, i have some friends at school i have to kill, ( they think civics and preludes are fast) but i was thinkinght e s14 sr20, but ive been hearing that the rb25 is killer, i just want a dependable car that will pump out some damn high amounts of power. any comments would be appreciated.. thank you

If your just the average joe street racer who thinks power makes you god...then go with the RB25...it gives the most bang for the buck. However it will offset your weight balance a bit and if I were you I'd just not CARE what the Honda folks think...and i start autox'n with the good 'ol reliable KA24DE...USDM tyte yo! ;NutKick;

Everyone seems to think you need a swap to go fast, but the KA just begs for a turbo, so that's what I gave it. Here's some pics of my turbo install.

Thanks, well, I'm a bit of an autocrosser, but I'm not as big into it as I used to be. I actually am more of a rally guy lately. I've been rallycrossing my brother's civic a lot lately. The next project is building a cage for the civic, and turning it into a full blown rally car. Since it's my brother's car, he'll be driving, and I'll be co-driving.

My 240 is my daily driver, and I'll be doing some track days in it with the occasional autocross or solo trials.

Yeah, that's a watercooled Z31 turbo. My website has info about the setup.

I may tune my car at PFI Speed in Fort Collins, they seem to have the best dyno prices around. They're having a dyno day on Saturday, and doing $20 base runs. Don't know if I'll make it or not.

Ziggy, try Redline Motorsports if your up in Ft. Collins. Mainly Toyota, but MKIV's are a daily routine for them, they do good work, and the shop is a helluva lot nicer than PFI's IMO (nothing against PFI). Nice Dyno too, but more $$. PFI is not very familiar w/ Nissans, they are more into Hondas.
