I like HKS HiPower and the Apexi N1 and the GT series exhausts.

Greddy exhaust have great sound, but unfortunantly aren't the best if you're looking for the highest HP gain. Especially the SP series. They are crap. I use Tanabe, and LOVE it. Great sound, and great look. No obvious welds spots or anything. It's a clean looking exhaust and I got a great gain from what was expected. I would say Apexi or Tanabe. I recommend getting a cat back and not just a muffler. Otherwise you just invested into an expensive noise maker that offers nothing.

the apex'i ws is supposed to be quiet. it kindof depends on how loud you want it.

I'd agree with THRICE Tanabe is what I use on my Prelude and my CRX both of the cars sound hella good and got a lot of gain. BUt for my civic I went with Apexi GT spec. 2.5 inch exhaust thats pretty loud but it has great gain on hp.
