wuts up yall my friend james itroduced me to this site, big johnston, i got into street racing pretty bad when i got my corvette running again, for a short while. I have a 1980 vette, its in two colors now cause i had to replace the front end its white and grey. It had some good mods like exhoust, bored motor and a pretty beefy cam with a set of vortec heads. Sadly though it blew last sunday coming back from racing. It blew bad the connecting rod snapped off and tore up the entire motor, completely trashing the block and snapping the cam in 5 pieces. The head were the only thigh salvagable. Im pucashing a 99 eclipse tomorrow to drive and play around with a bit while my corvettes down. Big johnston and i are going to have some fun building a big block for it. P.S. i am in no way a ricer!!! Oh and my vette toasted an Evo 8 by about 6 cars while she was running.

Yeah, get a 99 TURBO eclipse, not a really heavy neon
Mike
You forgot to mention that your Vette ran a 12.1 at Bandi after BigJohnston did your motor for you and you supposedly toasted the EVO8 without a second gear.

first of all I never said I built the motor i just tuned it for him however I did say that he amd I are going to build a 454 for it reason beeing that he doen't know as much about building cars and I am teaching him what I know it was very well tuned and ran well it did in fact take out an evo 8 any questions it belongs to someone who works at xevolution so ask him if he got beat and the 12.1 pass was before the shiftlinkage broke

You won't do crap w/o boost, especially up here plus Eclipses by nature are kinda heavy and most all motor ones can't even run with a stock turbo model. You'd be lucky to hit 15s up here and it'll cost ya' just to do that.
Buy my car instead. :)

actually i said to hell with the eclipse and found a 93 prelude. Its got the jdm h22 motor in it with cold air intake, ajustable cam gears, headers, full exhaust, vtec controler and a short throw shifter.
