Foci? J bodys(cavaliers, sunfires)? neons? Saturns?

I like Honda's as much as the next guy, but some of the other platforms are pretty good.

Anyone got dyno #'s on domestics? timeslips? Anything?

speaking of FWD domestics i saw the coolest thing today, i was pissed i didn't have my camera with me. i saw a riced out for apire.. big rims that made the car look like a 4x4, wing, clear lights, HUGE fart pipe. the guy wasn't happy with me because he looked over and i was looking back laughing at him (we were parked on i-25 so i didn't have to worry about watching the road) :(

ahh we have a bunch of dudes in an aspire that has a big ass sticker...they are called 'big tyme racing' or something like that...they thought i was racing the down this hill when i was going to work :confused:

You know, that's almost funny. Nearly as funny as the Ford Fiesta(aspire?) I saw near the Tech Center one day - it was sporting a supra wing...

Man - that's just wrong. Period.

I have never had a front wheel drive import, but I admit they are very fast. At least that is what i think.Its all gravy. Maybe some of ytou guys will like me know because I drive a import. They really aren't all that bad.

I used to own a 93 cutlass supreme SL coupe
I didn't do any mods to it, but I know quite of few people who did modify theirs
160hp/185ft of tq.
3.1 multi port

its a beautiful car to fix up

I got another olds (Aurora 95')
32v DOHC 4.0 v8, it is in the northstar family
260hp/270tq.
this car is more of a luxary car, the only thing I will do to this is tint it and maybe get some rims when I get some money

I wish it was a RWD car, itd be a lot faster

Yep, that's me. I also drive the army green neon. You can't miss it. Not quite as fast, high 15's vs high 12's in the blue neon. But its OD green. :)

hehe, one of the guys in the Coloradoneons.com club said that one day to some guy, we all laughed, and he made some T shirts that say it.

It was pretty funny Saturday, when one of the neon guys snapped an axle on the line, and some guy screamed at him from the stands. "My girlfriend loves your neon!". I don't think anyone else in the stands had seen the shirt, so they looked at him pretty strangely.

We had the axle replaced in about 15 minutes, and he ran a 14.7 later that day.

Congrats on the 12 second pass :Beer: I'm stuck in the 15's for this year in my car.

What is your general setup in the blue car?, I remember seeing you in the army green neon and I thought you slapped some paint and a turbo for this year. Also what mods does that guy have to run 14's?

The blue neon is basically a s16g turbo, 8 psi, various bolt ons, stock internals. Some suspension, some drivetrain, etc. A lot of tuning on the engine and suspension. Definitely different than the army neon, which is basically a 2001 SOHC motor, with 4 or 5 bolt ons. I'll be racing the army neon on the first wednesday test and tune, hoping for 15.5.

Dave's neon(14.7 one) is a SOHC, with just basic bolt ons, and a 50 shot. He runs mid to high 15's without the nitrous, and probably can hit 14.0 with it once he learns to use it. He's only had 2 or 3 passes with it. He's pulling 95-96 mph though.
