It supposed to on the hatch. Between the two seatbelts in the back.
It will strengthen the chasis, but you could just make your own. That's what I'm going to do. That's not a c-pillar by the way, the c-pillar is where it would go, you might be better off calling it a c-pillar brace so people know what you are talking about.

It doesn't have the end links of a strut tower brace. Its a C-pillar brace.Originally posted by fitchnpolo

All you have to do is go to the store, buy a metal pipe, or a square one if you want to mount a camera on it later. Cut out a square and drill a hole through it (this is where you will put the seatbelt bolt through). Then, adjust the length and weld on the ends that you made. See, easy as learning to weld.

I thought that it went in the back of the car. The rear seat belts?
It goes between the two high seatbelt points in the back. It doesn't obstruct the view and if you put a pad around it, it makes a great headrest.

Hey STU do you think that it would help me out with my set up?
I got all the front and the rear strut tower bars. I also got the double sway bar upfront and the a single in the back. I got a lower tie bar in the back and I got all the poly bushings.
Sure, anything that will tighten up your chasis will be good for it. When I had my 96 GSR, the passenger window was slow rolling up; sometimes it would even stop. After I got the rear strut brace, it worked fine. LOL.
