Honestly if I did come it would be to race, but at the same time I dont have a cage, so I'd have to "sandbag" and keep my ET's over 11.99

Personally, I'm not much intrested in doing that. So I'm still debating on bringing my supra to the event. I wont show it, and racing seems out of question almost.

I race to go fast...I know i can go alot faster then my best 11.8 run, but I'm not into gettin my ass in trouble again.

WHOA 800hp on an auto with just a T78? I sure would like to see this car. Pretty sad to have a high stall converter with 800hp and run 11.6 @ 124. Did you see the reaction time on that run? Talk about asleep at the tree.

Beautiful looking car, has wonderful potential, beautiful setup, but 800 would be pushing it even at the flywheel. Drivetrain loss would be very high. I suppose the owner could be using a triple clutch design with a lockup controller though. You would gain 7-8% back that way.

I would like to meet the owner to check it out anyways.

The IMSA Z car Won Rolex, Daytona and Sebring in 92, 94 and 95 and the GTS Class Championship.

Even voted best everday exotic in this months GrassRoots Motorsports magazine, Beating the Viper and Supra.

Fairly easy to make 450 HP, (stock 300hp) Minor suspension changes and it is a killer track car.

Or maybe I will see you on the street oneday. ;)

Yeah, MR2's are also not welcome either. I never thought I'd see the day a MR2 would'nt be invited to a "sports car meet". A two- seater, mid engine, somewhat light weight, and turbocharged (reffering to MKII's) car is in my mind, a true "sports car." It's more for any cars that they, or their friends own, or high dollar cars that are invited. Oh well, sorry for posting a non-related post, and I will not post my "whinning" again.

You need to show up! TT Z and S/C S. Both running similar times on the 1/4 mile. The real test is on a road course.

I wasnt saying anything against the Z .... honestly it has been my favorite car of all time ... I always wanted one ... the thing I was pointing out is that ALL Zs were invited it didnt specify TT but it seemed to specify which vettes could be there. The S2K also seems to be doing rather well in Car and Driver's opinion as well as Road & Track's in 3 of the issues it has come in first in the comparisons... one of the comparisons included the EVO 8

GOOD LORD.... That is low mileage... 42k.... yikes... Wish I had the money to pick it up. Oh well.. Not sure how the owner could keep their hands off it. Car just sits there for years and years...and drives it every 3 months. That would drive me nuts.:eek:

I used to pay a lot when I first bought it, back when I was 24. But, now we get discounts for being a "good" driver (hehe) and for multiple car discounts.
I think that I paid like $250 a month for insurance on it when it was my only car.
