. . . here I am.
I'm an old newbie; ie, I've been wasting money tuning imports for years. Not that I'm any good at it.
Primary projects -
'91 MR2T (drag/autocross)
'95 Integra GSR sedan (autocross/wife's car/dog car)
'89 CRX (street commuter, previous autocross car)
other cars -
HPI RS4
assorted 1:18, 1:24 and 1:43 scale models
an embarrassingly large Hot Wheels collection
Interests -
*autocross
*dyno days
*running at Bandimere because its fun and informative, not because it's all I care about
*making fun of people who tune their cars in the accessory aisle at Checker's
Here are some links to pics -
The MR2 -

The CRX (a long time ago - it's been repainted since) -

The Integra, on a rare occasion where I'm out of control :) -

Where I am when I'm not here -

. . . and if I'm not there, I'm walking the dogs - or asleep.

welcome...... Why is it we find our "large Hot Wheels collections" embarasing? I love collecting, but it is a little embarasing.... esspecially when moms in the toy isle look at you like they think your some kind of child molestor...

Welcome.
You had the MR2 out at the strip yet or you still working on it?

Welcome!!
A fellow autocrosser that's into Hot Wheels! Need any new FE's for 2k3? I'm also an "embarrassed" collector with a few thousand cars as well as a buttload of 1:18's...let me know if you're after anything in particular. :)

Thanks for the welcomes all.
Yes, the MR2's been out to Bandimere (see updated picture link) but nothing worth talking about. It's been a long and very-behind-schedule process.
Best so far was 14.16 @ 83 mph - misshifted into 2nd instead of 4th, locked up the rear tires, and never accelerated after that. So the car should be capable of a mid-13's - the goal is a low 13's. Best dyno is in the low 300's, should go up to at least 330 whp or so now that a lot more issues are under control.
In terms of HW collecting Tommy303 -
now that the bastards have expanded the series to 5 cars minimums and as high as 10, I'm giving up trying to collect series.
Have you found the Ferarri Enzo 2003 FE to be HTF? I've only got two . . . I really like collecting Ferraris . . . may be the closest I'll ever get to owning one.
Aside from the MR2, which Ferrari copied of course when they built the F355. :)

Hsun: Actually I haven't found the Enzo to be hard to find at all. I've probably got a couple extra. The cars that are difficult to get now are the '68 Boss Hoss, (there are a few variations) as well as the Mayer's Manx, Da' Kar, '70 Charger, and the GTO. If you find the Altezza with gold wheels, you're also doing really good. Those are tough to come by as well. :)
