View Full Version : No more busted axles for Project Si....

This last week as many of you know I broke yet another axle on the project Si. So after the second one in two months I decided to go a little stronger to avoid those silly and embarassing little jump starts. So the two peice OEM axles are history. I have an account with www.driveshaftshop.com if anyone is interested in these little gems. I have the stage 2 axles wichare billet steel cups and chrome moly shafts. Check out the picture and you can see the size difference and of course they are very pretty.

Heres a closeup of the inside joint which is prone to breakage. These axles are garunteed for six months and can handle up to 400 hp. The guy who made them assured me that he can build just about anything so If theydont show a part for your car on the website let me know and odds are he can build it.

Do they/could they do 3rd gen Prelude axles? And about how much are a pair?

They retail for $699. I am not one of their powerhouse accounts so I only get about 10% discount. They dont list prelude axles but Im sure he could make them.

HAHAH! Didnt drop it in the toilet yet but it is missing screws and now the memory stick cover is falling off.


ANd yes they do make swapped civic axles.
