Thats right. My talon has a few spider cracks where the clear coat has actually started to come off. Any recommendations? Its mostly on the bumper from what I can tell.

Which bumper? If it's the front, you have too much power and you are rear-ending other cars, and the rear, your brakes are too good, and cars are rear-ending yours. Make sense?

do you happen to have any pics? usually if the clearcoat is starting to come off the only real solution is to repaint it... you can sometimes blend just that area but it can be really difficult to match.
I would recomend wetsanding that whole area to remove the 'dead' clearcote... then spraying a new layer over it. It might not come out exactly perfect, and really it could come out way different, but there isn't much else you can do. You could maybe try it on a non noticible area first to see how it comes out.

I was going to have the car re-painted next year sometime. What happened was I had a sicker on the back bumper 30" long and when I removed it the clear coat came off with it.
Oh well its not really noticable but it still bums me out.
