ive been here for a week or two and never introduced myself, so here it goes.

name dan kim 19, going to be married, and will be out of the whole car thing....you ever read the classifieds and see people selling their rides cause of a baby or marriage, thats gonna be me lol. pretty happy though cause we all have to grow up.

anyway, i have a dx hatch over 140,000 miles lol, i got it when i was in high school and have been working on it sonce. h23 w/22 head, bored, ported, sleeved, the works, shout outs to dpr east. its all performance with no real outwardly looks. just new junkyard quarterpanels, cant be called new right? all painted mitsubishi white pearl, volk racing te37a 15" (and 8 inch bogarts for track use). full 3 inch piping, punched cat, no resonators, n1 , its all motor and simpler that way, im scared of nitrous and turbo lol. ummmm....sit im just fucking bragging, but i aint, cause honestly my car is just a regular looking hatch other than the paint and exhaust other than that you cant tell its been fixed up. oh and tyhe motor has 42,000 something miles on it.

anyway, ill be getting a galant lol, dude i they look pretty good for a family car, if i had more money id like to tote my family in a s600 or an m5, but in time, so the hatch will be garaged and eventually sold lol, so if yall know if a 4G63 transplant is feasible with the galant please guide towards that light lol.

Welcome. About the 4G63 swap, dont even bother with a swap, find a 90-92 Galant VR4. Has the 4G in it stock :)

there are some childish things you got to give up before taking that step, kinda like playing with legos when you are 30, as long as you wash and maintain your car, its peachy. its kinda scary cause for the last 3 and a half years, cars, this car has consumed my life, its kind of like "losing a nut"

and for exhaust, yeah its loud, but i dont get into high rpms, in any residential neighborhoods, just like i wouldnt like like people doin git in my neighborhood. its a daily driver, so i must give it up to be more economical., hey atleast it aint a minivan, its loud but it works


galant , i want a late model from 99-02, i just dont like the 2003's. oh and that galant transplant was kind of a joke, you know losing something and trying to get something else, yeah so its all good.
