Well thanks to Nick over at Detailersparadise.com, I know have some samples from the 1z product line. Their products haven't gotten too much attention yet, but from what I have heard they are great. So naturally I need a couple cars to try them out on. They have 4 different products (at least that's what I got, might be more) for paint, which should be able to handle just about any condition car.
Ideally i would want a car with color (blue, red, something not white or black, but somewhat darK) that has been around a few years. Not a totally bad surface, but maybe something 2-4 years old with a little oxidation and some swirls. I could also do a newer car with paint that is in better condition.
If anyone has a car that fits one of those descriptions, and wants them done post here or send me a PM. I'd probably charge $75 for the detail and do the full 4-5 hour job. If you would let me get pictures (ie before, after and during) it would be really awesome. I also wouldn't mind doing these as the offer I made on the other thread (under the donatinos thing) about donating $40 from the detail to HAI.
If you have questions you can post them here... i'm really anxious to try these products out... I have a feeling they are going to be the next big thing.

Hrmm...my car is prolly too new to really be of much value to the "test" but if you wanted to try it on an area of the car that needs some luvvin, I'd be willing to volunteer the evo. I'm kinda poor right now so I dont know about a full detail..but my car is pretty new anyway (obviously). I was thinking maybe just that area under the spoiler and back side of the trunk lid. Its really the only area that seems to have the swirling disease. :)

Actually your car would work out good. They have a really light cleaner that I want to try. If you wouldn't mind having 1/2 your car with one kind of product and 1/2 with another, than i'd love to do it. Don't worry about the payment thing either... we can probably work something out...
lets see:
ride in a car with boost=30% off
ride in Evo =30% off
detailing for a friend=%30 off
being my guinni pig=%10 off
Total=%100 off... looks like that has you covered :D
The more i've read up the more interested I am in the final wax product... from just the overall description it has some things that I really like to hear, and others i'm not to sure about. I need to test it on all kinds of paint to see if it really works or not.

I'm doing Kims on sunday... if I don't get any other takers you can bring one of those by. Maybe yours since I've seen klasse on it and would be able to compare the Glanz well...

how about my mom's 97 4runner? it's seen better days, a bit of oxidation, some swirls, but the paint is still intact. it's a green 4runner

If you want to do a black car let me know... I just bought the car and it looks like it has never been waxed or washed ever.. and I mean ever. It can use some serious help.

Bedlam: Saturday (week from today) would work for me if it does for you. Maybe some time earlier, so we get done when there's still some light outside. This time we'll have to get some good before and after pics.
DragIIIsi: I know black SI's really well... i could probably clean it up to almost brand new in a few hours. If it's badly swirled or something I can get rid of those too... the black SI's actually have a really really reflective paint when you get the right stuff on it.

I'm interested in anyone who wants a detail, or some help detailing. Right now my schedule is a tad full, it will probably be 2 weeks or so till i'm able to take a lot of cars. I think i'm going to need to plan another big HAI detail session too. Might be able to get 4-7 cars done if we get the right setup going.

My car could use a full detail job sometime so I make have to make an appointment. BTW my car is burgundy and the paint is about 5 years old and has seen three winters so it could use some work.
once again. i wish i lived in co :)
