I wish I had one, I seen a Cosmos front clip for 5K on Ebay today. If I didn't spend so much money this month buying my RX-7, modding my RX-7, and making sure it's in tip-top shape, I would have snagged it. I'll probably be going with a half-bridge 13B-T when the time comes though. :)

Doesn't the guy who has the Peter Ferrell 3-Rotor RX-7 that was in Car & Driver live in Colorado?

I'm pretty sure there's a dude with a 20B first gen RX7...

Thats cool, but I think the first gens are ugly. Mazda made more than leaps with their body styles between the first and third gens.

yeah... the FC is definately the best looking by far. And the best in terms of handling.

I've heard that the RX8 handles better than the 7.

you've heard a skewed point of view that holds little truth. The RX-8 is on-par in every way with the FD in terms of handling. It is my opinion, and the opinion of many professional track racers that an FC is a much better car at its extreme limits than the FD is at its extreme limits. An FD will out-do an FC all day, until you start doing crazy shit, then, the FC takes over. So, by this, I must assume that an FC will get down-and-dirty a whole lot easier than an RX-8 will. But, I won't know for sure until I drive it.

Sounds like you've had some fun at the track.

I definitely remember some dude that posted on the caranddriver.com forums for a while as "rotary boy" who had a 20B in his FD. (and he also had a MkIV Supra that he vowed to keep "bone stock" :( )
I'm pretty sure he lives here in Boulder somewhere.

That would be cool. Wish they would show them off more often.

if we were single, I'd say "It's a date." So, given the circumstances, I'm going to take that as a challenge, if you don't mind too terribly much.:D
