what I got out of this article: what makes a city drivable? the lack of attractions (in an sence of thousands and thousands of tourists flocking anually to visit)/small population. and when they say TX's urban roads are below average, they mean it.

Nice article and I am with ya, I drive it everyday!

Do you think that Traffic congestion would ease up if there wasn't so much construction going on? Or maybe all the people that are moving here ...

i get the part of I-25 with no T-rex, but there are still two spots that are always stopped, fucking right after I-70 till 20th, and right around 6th, all of this going southbound.
from what I've seen, it's all these motherfuckers who try and merge at like 30.
that's just me though...

I have been living in Houston this summer and all I can say is I-25 is nothing compared to the trafic they have here. I-10 is a parking lot from 6 in the mornig til 7 at nigh m-f and even like that on saturdays and sundays. Houston trafic is hell.

in essense, not too surprising to see LA and SF at the top of the least list, but that's mostly due to about 16 million people living in metro LA and SF (and practically most of Cali) having some of the highest gas prices in the states. Highway structure is a better in Cali, at least in So. Cal. I'm not too sure about Nor. Cal.

But congestion here is just as bad. If the gas prices here were similar to prices in Cali, Denver would probably be tied with one of the top three spots..
