I'm in Phoenix permanently now. Back home if you will, where women wear shorts in the winter time. ;)

I just got the Talon back together with some new parts too.

FP3065 turbo
Magnus Motorsports sheetmetal intake manifold
3" GM MAS with the new Mass Air Flow Translator
Tial 40mm ex wg routed back into the exhaust
custom 3" dp
custom 3" SS O2 housing
TMO Stg 3 ECU

She is running strong even roughly tuned yet. This turbo can push 65 lbs/min and still has a decent boost threshold. The BB center section and not having any pre-turbo intake restrictions is a nice combination. Venting the bov to atmosphere without being rich after every shift is nice as well.

I'll keep you guys posted on what happens with her at the track down here and I'm still planning on posting here at HAI. :D

Now that solid 11s will be no problem (10s???) you'll have to cage it or just do what John used to do;do partial throttle runs or just go balls out,get a warning,do it again, get kicked out and then come back some other time.

:) :)
Sweet!

That is definitely an awesome setup, I'm interested to hear what kind of crazy times that turbo pulls off

Is this all on the white 1g that almost hit 11s? Or is there another car getting all the fun stuff?

Here's a quick pic of the Magnus Motorsports sheetmetal intake manifold.

I don't know what elevation it is here Paul. I never considered Phoenix elevated, hehe.

Looking good, and wow that engine bay is clean compared to mine :(

Damn me having to go across a dirt road driveway to get to my driveway

Anyways, good luck with that and BTW the elevation there is around 1100 feet.

When do you plan on hitting the track with that?

Vern - good luck at lower altitude. With a turbo capable of 65 lb/min, you can make some pretty sick power. What RPM do you see boost come on, and what RPM do you see max boost? How much boost are you running/going to run? You are still on the stock FPR? :)

Kick butt, man.

Thanks John.

As soon as I get her dialed in right I'll post that info John.

I'll run whatever boost I can get away with on pump gas without overly richening her up.

I've had a SpoolingUp.com AFPR for quite awhile now. Same as the ChargedAir afpr, but I have one of the very first batch which actually works as advertised.

I'll hit the track as soon as I have everything settled in here and can afford to break something, hehe.
