The DC Video Premiere monday!

It's time boys and girls.
BC surf & sport is holding the DC shoes video premiere monday, july 7th at the bluebird downtown.
Tickets are $5 from any bc store, or $6 at the door.
A little background:
this is the first EVER dc shoes video. the dc team is insane, some cutting edge shit. word on the street is danny way's part is probably going to end up being one of the top three parts ever made. if you don't know who danny way is, this is the guy who dropped out of a helicopter into a vert ramp, holds the world record for longest jump on a skateboard (which he decided to pull like a 540, 360 grab and rodeo flip over) as well as the highest "air" on a skateboard.
There are two show times, 8pm and 10pm.

this will be the only time you can see this movie till the end of the month when it hits the stores, so come see it now and brag about how cool and "in" you are to all your friends who won't see it haha.

ok, for the two people that care, the video was crazy crazy crazy.
first off at what I'll call the premiere of the premiere we were treated to $2 coors, so i had a little bit of a hard time taking everything in because of this heh.
a few standout points/tricks:
-danny ways roll-in on something that looks like a god damn rollercoaster hill
-kalis' switch heelflip over your mom
-big black
-stevie williams doing flip/shove-it tricks into and out of manuals on shit you can't even ollie up. oh yeah, then he'd do them switch
-stevie switch backside heel to tail on a waist high ledge, no kicker
-AVE skates at about 50mph and will hit 270's out of k grinds all day
-brian wenning is a rockstar
-ryan smith = hammer time
ok, so that's all fun and good, so far a very good movie, there were a few more parts including an am section. by this time i've decided the video lived up to the hype and everything from here on out is a bonus. i also decided to get another beer.
now onto the part i've been waiting for, danny way.
his vert section kills. i'm not a huge vert fan, but the tricks he pulled, and how high he goes make me cry and crap my pants all at the same time, but it wasn't over.
now they move onto his "record" section. the ramp that was built for this is insane, i can't describe it, you need to see it for yourself.
He set the record for longest distance (while doing a backside 360) at 75' landed, then hit the huge huge 1/4 pipe at the end and set the height record of 23.5' feet while doing a nice backside grab. so your like wow, cool.

it get's better.
now he backs it up with a 540, a 360 heelflip and a motherfucking 720 mctwist, all over this fucking gap your house would fit in.
he looks like a snowboarder, only without those fruity bindings that keep the board on your feet.
oh, at the 10pm show brandon biebel and daewon song decided they'd show up and have some beers with us.
ended up staying till like midnight, planned to leave at 9pm haha.
3 hours of sleep = :(
