...it was replaced today with a brand new family car :D AWD, turbo, 4 doors, grocery getting trunk, baby seat and pregnant woman restraints also included! (yes it actually says that in the manual :p ) I guess Bedlam now has a twin too :) :)

I have been talking to Forum about this lately..I think its because the entire stigma of owning a honda now is just fucked up. You end up being grouped with all the ricer kiddies just because its a honda.

When I first got into import cars..there were 3 groups of people that owned them (in my little world of course)

1) ricers
2) racers
3) bone stock, daily drivers..

Now, its too the point where almost EVERY damn honda out there has some idiot ricer parts, and people that have them think they are a damn race car. The sheer numbers of the honda "rice" crowd..have FAR outnumbered those of us who actually "race" and now I think people just see imports as cars that were in Fast and the Furious. I dont even know if I want to be associated with a honda anymore..its why I didnt buy another one..I dont know if I ever would either.

Of course, the next person who asks me the stupid ass typical questions about my car...I think I'm just going to run them over. Period. Here is an abbreviated list of comments you will get about the Evo.

"Wow! Thats a cool body kit!"

"Have you done anything to it?"

Same shit all the time...I honestly think I'm going to rice the hell out of my evo, and start pulling mods out of my ass just to shut people up. I'm tired of the ricer questions already!

Bedlam: The guys at Skyline were actually pretty good. Took a while to get them down to the price I wanted and a deal that fit my budget, but overall it was a good experience.

Scuba_Steve: I think I'll pass on that race :p I know how fast your car has been running, heh!

Time to go put some miles on this baby today, only little over 100 so far :D :D

I believe the EVO 7's are a direct replacement and their all red, just a thought. Congrats again on the new ride, AWD is the ish!:D

Yea, I've heard about the all red Evo7 tails too. Maybe in the future, but for now I don't mind the altezza's at all. Drove all through the mountains today a bunch, car drives great in the twists and turns, I love it.

My insurance went DOWN with the Evo also. It was $7k more expensive, has a lot more HP..and was cheaper to insure. Go figure?

Justin: make sure you join clube8..if you want to get together and talk evos sometime let me know. My next project is to adjust the base height for the HID's...finally. I posted kind of a how-to over there. Otherwise..I really, really, doubt red evos are going to be like the EPB Si. First of all..they are a very limited run this year. Secondly, there are more colors available to begin with..and if anything, I've seen a lot more silver ones than anything else! :)

I don't care if the red Evo's are popular or not, I am just happy to own one :) Mine was the second red Evo I have seen/found (next to yours Bedlam) and I searched all the dealer stock of Evo's in Denver area. Anyways, I'm definitely down to get together and chat, I'd like to hear what you've done and what you have planned :p Mine will stay stock for quite a while though, I'm more than happy with the way the car is stock anyways.
