Sasha spun last night at The Church. That guy is awesome! I pretty much have all the solo Sasha albums and all the Sasha and Digweed albums, but it's so different hearing it live. He finished off with a trance version of 'Enjoy the Silence' from old school Depeche Mode which is just awesome and a great way to end the night.
I seen them a while back at the springs auditurium, it was off the hook!...
Nice! Sounds like you had an awsome time. I wish I could have gone.

YEah, silvergloves, ghosty, inis, and some other friends of ours and I all went up to the church to see carl cox, fuckin sweet shit, right when you were dying to take a break and you though he was gonna ease up a little, he would play another fucking dope song and you would just have to stay. I have to say he knows how to work the crowd. Oh yeah, chris...I need to tell you that heather and I may be going to see christopher lawrence up there this thursday too!

isn't carl cox more along the lines of a sort of drum & bass persuasion? I saw him in Colorado Springs one night and wasn't that impressed. I'm definetely more into the heavy trance like Sasha and Digweed, PVD, Oakenfold, DJ Tiesto, etc...

You better get your tickets for Global Dance on the 26th at Red Rocks then
Paul Van Dyke
George Acosta and the infamous
Bad Boy Bill =D
I already got my tix
www.ticketmaster.com
too bad they are 36 bux, but that's basically 12 dollars per dj
also Carl Cox wasn't very trancey, it was actually borderline hard house, it just didn't have the fast moving 100 records per set house style, like bad boy bill plays...fuck that man is awesome

eh, probably not worth it. I hate those little candy kids and raver types and drugs, and I can see all of them up at Red Rocks. I just like the music. At least at the church there was only a few chicks with glitter, only one guy with glowsticks, and there was plenty of alcohol served ;)
For some reason I'm thinking I may have seen PVD before live but can't for the life of me remember where or how enjoyable it was.
