I've heard a lot of other people say it gave closure, but personally I left thinking what the hell is gonna happen then.

it left alot of stuff open. WARNING IF YOU HAVENT SEEN IT DONT READ ANY FURTHER!!! the whole point to me was that they could never prevent the future only set themselves up to triumph. But if you cant prevent the future, then john connor will die by a t101's hand and that could be t4....

I was thinking about the movie today and have one question:

If the Terminators have the ability to travel back into the past, why not completely wipe out the human race alot earlier than the present??

For example, imagine if the Terminators were to travel back to the dawn of man....

so does Arnold's character kill john conner, get captured, get reprogrammed by Claire danes, and then sent back in time? my friend and i were debating this. that is my theory as to why he kills john conner in the future

I don't know the reason...but he said he kill John because Claire Danes told him to. I think he's reprogrammed, kills John, then goes back.

Forum and I went and saw it last night...they really had the sound cranked up for that movie! It was pretty impressive. There were some parts where the ceiling in the theatre was squeaking like crazy because it was shaking so much. Neat stuff. Anyway, the movie left a lot of things open, it could definately be a segway into another sequel..who knows. I couldnt help but think of different parts of the Matrix while I was watching it though. Anyone else notice any similarities?

Overall, I was pretty happy with the movie...Arnold is as badass as ever..and there were some better looking women in this one! :)

Yeah Kristanna Loken = Yummy! Yeah the main part where i thought baout the matrix was seeing the ships in the gov't facility or whatever. Reminded me of the things in the matrix, similar features.

My coworkers and I were discussing T3 today.

So in T3, the Govt created the terminators, right? So how come in thT2, the Terminator identified himself as Cyberdyne Systems model 101?

Also, in the first Terminator, Kyle Reese said that when they time travel, they cant bring anything back, so they come back in the buck but Terminators can come back endoskeleton and all. So why cant a Terminator come back with a weapon embedded in it's skeleton?

Anyways, enough analyzation. The movie rocks. Kristanna Lokken is HAWTTT!

The TX had planty of weapons in its skeleton. Also, how could you guys even be debating why the T101 kills John Conor? It was as clear as a bell. They chose his model because of his likeness to the one who was involved with him as a boy. That's it. Then the good guys captured him and reprogrammed him to go back to insure their survival.

I haven't even been out of the theater for 30 minutes yet by the way.

My only problem is, the most climatic part of the movie was the beggining.

i was thinking that after T101 kills Connor in the future. they capture him and send him back to protect Connor when he is a kid.

I was thinking about Terminator series and it looks like after they are done with Terminator they are going to start the beginning of Matrix. It kind of looks like it. What do you guys think?
