Looking for some help on Painting my ride!

I am rebuilding a 97 Impreza and I am going to be dropping in a STi engine. The only thing is, I want my car to look good as well as go fast. Right now the car is boring green and I am looking to paint it Rally Blue. Anyone have any experience painting a car a new color? Thanks!

what exactly are you looking for with the paint job? are you ask for a recommendation to a shop?

I want a awsome paint job but don't want something that is going to cost me 4000! I could sand it myself it that would save money...Just looking for someone with experience to help.

you could go to a shop and ask how much it would be just for them to spray it, in other words do all the prep work yourself, and so on..
