riiiiight...

one of the general contractors we work with had to delay a groundbreaking because of 8 prairie dogs. these prairie dogs cost $1,000 each to relocate to a preserved area just for them. however, this area is over populated with prairie dogs...so they wont allow them to be relocated there. so now, they have to pay even more for a private land owner to take them.

i figured the bullet was going faster than the speed of sound. I was watching the history channel and they were talking about the marines in this one battle during (i believe) WWI. They were killing Germans from 750 yards. A German soldier wrote that their guys where dropping before they even heard the gun shot and that they have never seen such accuracy.

Ok, well you could reasonably argue that there are many who deserve it, but pictures are still sick. The good thing about Boulderites is that they may eventually solve their own problem... they regularly just walk into traffic without looking and expect everyone to stop for them. Yeah, they'll live a long time doing that! Unfortunately, the City of Boulder and the state legislature keeps encouraging them to do so, and they are now spreading to nearby areas such as Longmont. :guns: We even got their hobos now!
