Well, after my car suffering a complete electrical failure last night, i went and bought a new battery and a new alternator for it. because it was loosing electrical power, as in lights dimming at low RPMs.

i replaced the alternator and it almost kicked over, then i replaced the battery, and it started right up. Now, i took a lap and went bowling and the car started up fine, then i did some other things. BUT when i went to take my GF home, i was on my way back and the lights started dimming again, and my car was about to stall... i got it home and shut it down, tried starting it up again. and it didnt start....... Now i ask you...... WHAT THE FUCK?

one person said it was a wiring SNAFU, which i believe could be a problem.. but is there any other suggestions? could the fuse to my alternator be out? i havent checked that yet... but is there anything that i am over looking? i think i just drained my new battery so i am going to have to take it back and get a NEW one.. prolly get a new alternator also, maybee a faulty one? who knows...?!?

anyone?

Sounds like a short circuit. If it happens with the key out it is shorting into a wire that has current even then, that would narrow it down a bit. Also the circuit that is blowing the fuse is probably the culprit, check the wiring on that circuit. Use a test light or ohmmeter.
