Oh man, got to detail a Hennesy Viper Venom 600 today. Holy shit what a car! Big ass brakes, more power than you can shake a stick at, and some FAT fuckin tires. Got to drive it up to service after i detailed it, and man that thing rumbles. 2nd gear at 2k rpm i gave it a little gas and got the ass end out. I ended up taking the "long route" to service :D Im gonna miss that car :(

600? Those are so "yesterday" ;) and so is the Venom TT 800,now there's a Venom 1000 and I saw a vid somewhere that it ran a 8.9 in the 1/4 with some juice and off the bottle it ran 9.4.

Did you meet the owner? Was it a red one? I raced a 600 last year and got my butt kicked but I did stay in front till about 65mph thanks to AWD.

nice. You must be doing a good job if they already trust you with a car like that. How long did it take you? I hope it wasn't swirled all to hell before it got to you.... cars like that are the ones that should be taken care of, though sadly they usually aren't.

Friend of mine detailed a Zanardi NSX (limited one time production of 50) last week. Thing was swirled all to hell. It's kind of sad... at least they were able to bring it back to looking like a limited edition high end sports car.

I was at a concours a few weeks ago at our booth, and an older guy with a cane comes up to me and asked me to detail his classic Ferrari. He wanted me to come to his house and clean it up so he could put it on a trailor and ship it to Vegas for a show.

It was tough, but I had to decline. I need to stay focused on my core business right now, and detailing cars will spread me too thin. I know, I'm lame.

I think i ended up spending about 2 hours on it, hehe. I was sooooo careful. The interior looked brand new by the time i got done with it, and i dont think i swirled it much at all. Couldnt see any when i had it outside doing a last check over the car. After i got done sprayin the car down and washin out the engine i had to move it over to my bay. My boss heard it start up, ran out of his office and kept asking me if i could handle backin it up, hehe. Fun experience :)
