No you can reuse the VX harness. You have to add a knock sensor wire and I do believe that you need to change around the O2 sensor wires. I have it written down somewhere I just need to find it............if you live in the springs I could help you out with it..........for beer or food :). I don't have the schematics in front of me right now but I will look it up tomorrow.

dude, check back in that last post you put up about this.
i posted up the EXACT wiring instructions.
your just making it harder on yourself if you use the jdm harness, it's not the same as us which means your going to have to re-pin the entire plug.
1.check out your old post on this
2.find my reply with a link to hybrid that tells you everything you need to do.
3.drive happy with your b16a

Ok I just got done looking through my schematics. When you get to the VX O2 sensor cut off the plug on the wiring harness side. Here are the wires that you will be using Orange-Blue, Green-White, Yellow-Black. Cut the O2 sensor plug off of the B16 wiring harness, it will have 4 wires White, Green-White, Yellow-Black, and Orang-Black. Using solder you need to connect the B16 O2 plug to the VX wiring harness that you just cut. The white wire from the B16 will go to the Orange-Blue wire of the VX. The Green-White of the B16 goes to the Green-White wire of the VX. The Orange-Black of the B16 will go to the Yellow-Black of the VX. The Yellow-Black of the B16 needs to go to Junction Connection C125 which is on the drivers side shock tower...........it is a junction of a bunch of Yellow-Black wires..........there will be an open space for the Yellow-Black wire from the B16, just run a piece of wire from the B16 connector to this junction block. The rest of the cut wires from the VX wiring harness need to be taped off..........they won't connect to any pins on the B16 ecu but I don't like open wires floating around.

The VTEC should already be wired correctly so that isn't a factor. The knock sensor needs to be run to location D3 on the ecu which will have a Blue-Yellow wire coming out of it. Cut the blue wire and solder the knock sensor wire onto it. The D3 location is one of the old VX O2 sensor locations so it is fine to cut the wire.

Go here to learn how to read the ECU pin locations (D14, D3, A4, A6, etc.) http://tech.hybridgarage.com/tech/5gtech/index.html
