Good Car meets?

I was kind of reading through the "Upcoming events" section and I am trying to figure out if there are any meets near where I am going to be. I am moving to Laekwood and I am not really familliar with the area. I know that Denver is east of me, Boulder is north of me and the mountains are west of me.

I hate going to the typical meets that include the obligatory burnout infront of everybody and the guy in this 86 civic whose trunk is about to fly off because of the blaring subs. Are there any meets with people who actually know stuff about there cars and don't pull numbers or quotes from movies that will remained u-named? just wondering.

what times do you guys normally meet there? i'm gonna start working out at the 24 hours fitness off alameda and union weds nights after 10, maybe i'll drop on by before i hit the gym

I thought denver west was considered Colfax and Indiana?

well i guess thats the "new" denver west

but where the fed center and jose osase(sp?) i have always known to be denver west

First it's Jose Oshea's, and the reason Denver West is at Colfax and Indiana is because of the Denver West office park that has been there since the beggining of time, then followed by the Denver West shopping center that they built there.

At what palce do you guys meet at 2nd and Union? Hamburger Stand?

Yeah, Jackal is talking about Hamburger stand just south of 6th on Union/Simms.

As far as weekday meets go, this is the best, with ALL KINDS of cars, from old to new, mostly domestics but we're trying to change that.
