Jeff at Bandimere decided it was a waste of time.

Call 303-697-6001, ask for Jeff, and tell him if you had planned to run.

Basically it was heads up FWD street cars, winner gets $1000, second place gets $750, and there are several thousand dollars available to the winner in contingency money.

Basically quickest 8 cars run heads up.

I know of at least 5 people, including myself that were going to attempt to qualify in this class. If there are 3 more people they may decide to run it.

I hate brackets. Most of the fast FWD cars hate brackets.

If you want to race heads up, call Jeff and let him know how you feel.

You dont need to post in more than one Forum. There probably isnt enough interest to have the class. If there is less than 8 cars it is a waste of time for the track officials.

I apologize for posting in more than one forum, I was just trying to get attention to it.

I don't know who frequents which forums, and whatnot.

Yes, I agree, if there isn't enough people to fill the class, it is a waste of time and money. But how can anyone make that decision, when they have never even tried it, or even asked if anyone was interested?

Like I said, I know of 5 cars that were planning to race in it. And I know there are quite a few FWD cars that are just as fast as those planning to race.

Maybe I'm wrong, and all of these guys that don't participate in the ET series would rather run brackets than a heads up class. I don't know.

Hmm, I have no idea if my car is fast enough but that looks like a class I may be able to compete in.
So that kind of sucks IMHO.

These "special" IDRC events are worthless. The SR-1 Team Challange last year was a struggle to get four teams worth a shit.

and in all honesty,

There will NOT be 8 FWD cars than go 12's low 13's, without breaking once during the day, There might be a good run here or there but basically it will suck ass.

Good decision Jeff.
