i was installing a factory style wing today on my accord, connected the led light to where my 3rd brake light used to go, all 3 lights worked, no problem... then, all of a sudden, they all went out, not even the origilan 3rd break light. parking lights, headlights and backup lights still work, but breaks dont. i check the stop light fuse under the hood, it's sitting in its place. i pulled it out, put it back in, didnt work. checked other fuses, they seem to be in place. i disconnected the negative source from the battery and disconnected accesory from cigarette lighter, reconnected negative, still didnt work... still seems like a fuse problem, but i dont know what do, its kinda frustrating to have the breaks not work after they worked a minute earlier... any suggestions?

i replaced the stop fuse, with another fuse of the same amperage, the brakes worked, turned out the stop light fuse was blown. but when i connected all the fuses again with a new stop light fuse and connected the brakes, the stop fuse was blown once again and brakes didnt work. hmm...

im thinking now that i messed up the positive and negative... i connected black to black and white to red... but the black wire on the car harness is redish.

so the parking lights work on the tails? did you just connect the light on the spoiler to the third brake light? did you splice wires?

did you connect white to a red/black wire?

What exactly are the colors of the wires on the spoiler? (if you haven't gotten it to work yet)

I'm gonna try it when I get come today, the spoiler harness has red and black-red, car harness has black and white. I'm gonna try to switch the wires and see if that works

k, never mind, i got it fixed. i found a tiny little piece of bare wire touching metal, so that's why the fuse kept blowing. at least it looks better now.

ah, well glad it's fixed.
