i just bought a set of these for my car, and im wondering what its going to take to install them myself, possibly with the aid of a buddy. what tools does it take, and what kind of problems should i expect just in case something happens? thanks guys/gals

What are you putting them on? Did you get shocks too?
If you didn't get shocks then you're going to have to use the originals. To take the original springs off the stock shocks you have to have a spring compresser. If you don't have a spring compressor just put a carpet over the spring and stand on it so it doesn't shoot across the room and kill someone (depends on what car).

You will need a regular metric set, allen *sp?* wrenches, air tools (not needed), jack, jack stands, and other stuff depending if you break a bolt, a bolts rusted in, etc....
It's not hard to do at all just kind of time consuming if you haven't done it before.

When you take off the wheel you can pretty much see what you have to do. It's not rocket science. It's pretty much taking things off and putting them back on. =\ . Just be sure to get an alignment and such after you're done.

Feel free to add anything that i've missed.

also depending on the car you will need new upper mount bushings. alot of coilover kits dont come with them. and the stockers are soft they get destroyed fast.

ensure you put the right springs on the right part of the car. the heavy springs in front softer in the rear. unless you are RWD and purposely setting up heavy in the rear for drag launches.

its a 93 integra ls. i need to wait a bit to do the install cause i cut my finger pretty bad doing a stereo install for a buddy of mine. had to get stitches :/ but thank you guys for a heads up. its a complete set of skunk2 coilovers so i would assume that it comes with everything, minus tools, that i will need. but my assumptions could, and probably are incorrect.

again, thanks.
and hoffman, is that christina in your sig? do i see 'gine?

oh, and for now im going with the stock shocks. they will be replaced further down the road though.
