whoa, wait a minute.
knock sensor from 7 wire to 4 wire?
convert o2 into a 4 wire?
the knock sensor has one wire, so i don't understand....
if you have an eg civic, your car should already use a 4 wire o2, so again, i don't understand.
can you go into a little more depth on what you mean?
oh, and for the belts, you just take them off, they are seperate.
if your not running a/c or p/s you will not need any belts, except the timing belt which will be on the motor already, i hope hehe.

His sig says a 92 HB, so I assume it is an EG. But yea, the o2 should already be 4 wire.

well i'm not going to get started on hmotorsonline, cause that'll go way off topic....
but my bet is they were probably sniffing glue when you talked to them.
Here are the 6 wires, at the most, that you will have to add:

some of the eg's came with some or all of these wires already in the harness, some didn't, it's your job to figure out if your car has them or not.
Hope that helps
oh, the vtec ground, don't worry about. it's just like this little inch long black wire that routes from the vtec solenoid back to itself and is grounded by a screw on the solenoid. just make sure it's there. you can miss it.
