What's the best car wash agent you guys use? I just use Dawn because it cuts grease =\.
I wash my windows with windex and newspaper after i'm done. I don't wax or anything because I can't really tell much of a difference on my white car. All in all, I think it looks good when i'm done.
i stick strickly with car care products. can't think of the window cleaner or car wash soap, but i use turle wax spray wax when i'm done.

dawn isn't something you want to use normally. Yes it does a great job of cleaning, but in most cases too good. If you have any kind of wax (with the exception of a few synthetic products) and wash your car with dawn you can kiss that stuff good bye. Dawn cuts grease, wax is very similiar to grease.
A really good car wash is called Quick and Easy Wash. You can find it around here at Camping world stores. Why is it so good? Because it doesn't take a hose. That's right... one bucket full of water, a wash mitt and something to dry with and that's all you need. Great for people in water restricted areas or apartments or something. It's safe for all kinds of finishes and won't remove wax. All you do is dip the mitt and wash the panel like you normally would, then you simply dry and your done. Seems like a bad idea, and like it would scratch your surface, but it doesn't. Stuff is amazing. I know a guy who has been using it professionally (ie 2-3 cars a day) for 12 years and never had a problem with it. Of course if your car is very dirty (ie mud) you might want to rethink things. But for average build up the stuff can't be beat.

Dish soap is universally panned (ha-ha get it) for washing cars as it can start to strip the clear coat as well as the wax since it does have a certain amount of abrasives which is fine for dishes but not for smooth clear coats.

Use the arisol can you can get from Elite auto glass. It makes clean windows look like mirrors. Fucking amazing shit. Try it on your headlights, tailights, it's fucking good shit. I have like 4 cans of it.

If you don't wax, but still wash, you should consider something like One Grand Wash and Wax. It does a great job of cleaning the car and leaves a light coat of wax when you are done.

windows: inside - water only because of the tint; outside - Sprayway Glass Cleaner (can be picked up at Costco)
