my tach is going nuts, and everybody is telling me it's

It is the '89 Integra distributor that you need to get. More than likely it is the ignitor going out. You can get a new one at Autozone or someplace similar for about $80.

how does your zc run i'm kinda disapointed in mine

wel.. did you change everything out for new service?... just by throwing in the engine is not all that good... you need to replace your water pump. belts. hoses and other things to make sure that your motor runs like brand new.... sometimes motor just set there in the yard for a long time... or they just barly take it out of j spec car and ship it... and many can have bad parts by seeting in bad weather

i've done all the basic maint. , plugs,wires cap&rotor.
t-belt, waterpump etc. any other good ideas?
i want it to run at full strength.

Make sure your timing is correct. Also, a lot of people have had good experience running 91 octane and advancing the ignition timing all the way.
