Suby and DSM: Burying the Hatchet

I want to tell all you DSM guys that I love your cars and think you guys are fuck all cool. Next Sunday the 22nd I am going to hold a Subaru/DSM meet at my restaurant in Boulder at 11 AM. The address is 1149 13th street. MAMACITAS MEXICAN RESTAURANT. I will provide chips, salsa, guacamole, and quessedillas. AS WELL AS 2 FREE DRAFT MICROBREW BEERS TO THE OLDER FOLKS. I plan on showing some sick videos on big screen such as GIS1,2,and 3 and Best Motoring 5 EVO vs WRX. You will see how even our cars are especially when driven by japanese GT500 champions. Even a race between modded versions of every version I through VIII. I think we have so much in common it is stupid for people to hate.

Batman and Talon, I am buying you fuckers a shot of my best 100$ a bottle tequila as long as I get to make up the toast!

I am in St Paul Minnesota for a week, so I will check up on this thread infrequently.

The altitude here is 1000 feet. I am looking for the local drag strip so I can bring home a 12 second no nitrous time slip.

I am excited about this and once again all speed freaks, Honda's, European cars, Skodas, guys named after prostitute clients, guys who hate guys named after prostitute clients who no longer own a fast car, etc., are welcome.

The Hill in Boulder is dead on sunday mornings and the parking lot across from me can accomodate 40 cars as well as another 30 or so in the street. Free parking on Sundays.

Even if you aren't 21 I have sodas juices food and a bunch of cool videos.

So much for a private AIM convo. Heheh. Hey, you know me, I've never been "timid", and I've spouted about my personal experiences with the cunt 4g63 motor, Time and Time again. Doesn't mean I have anything against DSM "owners". I just HATE the company with a passion for making my life a miserable hell for eight years. No biggie. :D

Plus I'm just bitter about trading in my schweeet black ('87?) TURBO Toyota pickup, for a P.O.S. '92 GSX that still haunts me in nightmares. I was RAPED on "that" transaction. And no I don't hope the cars blow up while occupied. :D

Thanks again Harvey, love your restaurant. Haven't been on "the Hill" in ages. The cruise up Flagstaff was beautiful and fun. Loved ripping the tires around those switchbacks. Heheh. Got lots of great Scooby pictures. I'll try an post 'em.

Oh well, sucks for me i guess. Thanks a lot WRX Harvey for the invite, sounds like it was a lot of fun! I'll definitely be checking HAI's upcoming events more often from now on so I don't miss the next meet :), and when the next one is being scheduled, I could post it over on the RMDSM board so we can get some more DSM's to show up :cool:
