Service: Kill switch install

With all the theft that's going on lately, myself included, I've learned how these guys steal these cars, and have ways of stopping it (for all the Honda guys).

I'll install a kill switch, and change certain hardware which makes your car harder to steal. I'll change the hardware and do the kill switch for $75. This includes wiring, switch, and hardware. I can install in your car in a descrete location in about an hour. Pretty good investment if you ask me.

The switch is on the ignition-- if you try to start the car, it won't even turn over.

I relocated my fuel pump relay so its easier to remove, I take it into the house with me and to the movies etc.

There are so many ways to disable a car. You can relocate the relay and pull that out, make a switch somewhere that will shut off the fuel pump, cut power to the ecu, cut power to the starter, cut power to the main relay, etc.

So does a kill switch just interupt the circut to the ignition key? I am totally oblivious when it comes to theiving skillz. Good thing I dont own a Honda.

hmm...also try the clutch pedal. works wonders.

ill say it like this, if you want to make your car top of the line, then you should do the same with your alarm. yah, it may look stupid with the club or clutch pedal, but atleast its still there. or even spend money on sparco's detachable steering wheel. now thats a real good idea. can anyone think of something better? besides early warning lo-jack..?

If you do install a kill switch to your fuel pump or ecu etc. Make sure that you get a good high quality switch that shouldn't add to the resistance in the system. If you get some piece of shit that adds more resistance to your system your pump isn't going to pump as much and you will have less fuel pressure. I know this because i have seen it happen before.
