ive had 2 honda cars in my family... and both have always always always fucked up with the auto windows... repeatedly.... welll i need to fix it my self this time and i was wondering if anyone coudl give me some hints or pointers....
My mothers accord on the drivers side has fucked up.... the window is down but it will not move up... it seems as if it is stuck... the motor seems to work since the engine kinda struggles with pushing the window... no noise is made..a nd the window doesnt move at all.. its all the way down.... now if i were to fix this my self.... i woudl have to open the door up... now do you thik that it is a simple task that i can accomplish... since i have no clue whats back there really... i opened up my old corolla once to instal some speakers... but im wondering if theres anything different about auto windows.... since my last car was manual.... now do you think it is possible for me to do it with no trouble at all..a nd if so could you give me some hints as to how to go about it... also perhaps maybe a estimate in time... i knwo i know... depends on many factors.. but give it a good shot.... because my mother wants it fixed now... and its 11:31am..a nd i have class tomorrow at 8 at college... so please tell me..
NOTE: sorry i meant 11:31PM

you'll need a tab puller for the seperation of the door pannel. keep in mind there are a lot of hidden screws holding it on too. once theyr all off pull the door up then out. meby at first just try to help the window up with your hand wile pressing the up button. if it goes, u need a new motor. if not it could be the switch, the fuse or a nick in the wire. might just be obsrtucted too.

thanks for your input... but the problem is the motor is woreking because it causes stress on the engine... the problem is the window wont budge
its all the way down
bellow the the rubber weater stripping on the door... the problem is i cant reach it with my fingers.... so im screwed.... fuck auto windows i always tell people... i woudl be happier with regular good old fashion muscular moving windows... fuck the lazy shit.... hmmm about the hidden screws thats the problem.. when i put back my old corolla door together i ended up with 3 extra screws.. i dont want that ahppening again
dammit why do honda windows have to suck so bad...

the tracks may be bent, the only way is to take the door panel off. its not that hard. just make shure your hands are clean.

what year accord?

take the door panel off, look to see if the window is obstructed or the tracks are bent. hopefully it's just obstructed. could also be a dying motor.

it can be easier to get a hold of the window once the door panel is off, depending on how big your fingers are.

best of luck!
