This is in your Talon,right? Is something up with your car,I ran pretty consistent 15.8s bone stock w/spare and tools removed.

Must be some other car that he's running. Look at the 60 fts. Definately not an AWD or he can't drive.

Its a 91 talon tsi (fwd) And i know there's somthing definetly wrong with my car. It sounds fine and i can't hear any obvious boost leak. I had a really bad boost leak and i ran a 17.5 in the 1/4.LOL. Then i found it and now it runs a 16.3. I usaully launch around 4k rpms. So hopefully i will find the problem pretty soon. I want to race next Wed. too.

eek! Time to get some slicks! I pulled a 15.0 on 15PSI of boost and thats it :) Yay for another DSMer joinin the boards :)

all the traction problems of a honda with all the reliability problems of a dsm!!!

Even with FWD you should be able to drop some time from the 60' for some major gains down at the end. The traps are good enough for low 15s.

If you really have a 16g (per your username), that's pretty pathetic. You need to turn the boost up, if you have the mods in place to support it.

I have an intake,muffler,16gturbo W/no boost controller, and a b&m short throw shifter. I still can't find the problem. I think I will buy a data logger. That will narrow it down probably.
BTW- I'm lookin at a AWD talon tomorrow and I may get it. : )
I guess they do a 14.8 stock.

Yes,a datalogger shows alot,if you lived here I offer my loggins services.
Definetly get the AWD if you can and yes,a 14.8 is possible with a very good launch but most run around 15 flat at sea level.
