...and slips. BWAHAHAAHAHAHAHAH!

jk check it out stu, I got your trans apart and did a little sluething and found the problem and cause of your clutch woes. First the disc is worn out causing the slippage you recently expereinced.

now the cltuch is gone; it slips when I shift into third and fourth at half throttle.

the reason it is wasted is because the throw out bearing has been around since before you even hit puberty. Thus it is old and dried up like me. This caused it to stick to the shaft :D and wear the disc out. Ill have the flywheel machined tommorow and take a few more pics before I put her back together.

Tobi is the Honda master.

BTW - I might be sending a friend to your shop to get some suspension work done. She hit a curb pretty hard and has 3 wheel steering now. It's a 90 Accord.

Wow, that's nasty looking. I hope my clutch never gets that far gone before replacement...

Thanks Tobi, I first knew the clutch was going shortly after I bought the car, and was driving around Downtown Denver with 600 pounds of phone books in the hatch. :p That probably didn't help. So you think 16's are near or what?

So I got the car back. I felt like I was 15 and trying to sneak my dad's Corvette out of the garage for the night. It used to engage (if you can call it that) when the pedal was 95% of the way out, now, not only does it grab like nothing I've ever felt before, it also engages when the pedal is only like 5% out. If I can't run a 16 in my car now, I'm retarded. Thanks for all the handi work Tobi, (I don't know what you did, but my car idles beautifully now, thanks). Oh yeah, I went ahead and commited a Federal Offense and put a hand bill in your mailbox. I hope you don't press charges. I'll see you at the track if they let me race with a shattered window. Will they if I tape it up?
