How can someone not have Internet? This isn't 1995, it's 2003, tell him to learn how to surf.

Just one question...why?? Basically the B18a and B18b are the same motor, only difference is 10 hp and the OBD-1. Yes you can do it but why waste the money to get very little hp. Do a b16 swap, the best bang for the buck.

to be totally technical there is no difference in the actual horsepower of the a vs b it is basically all in the computer system
obd 1 started in 92 and the horsepower jumped in that year by ten horsepower thus there is no difference in the motors themselves except the fact the b is a little stronger to to higher quality parts

You need to look at the helms manual then if you think it is all in the computer, sorry some of it is like maybe 50% but the majority comes in lift duration in the cams and I believe the stroke is different, but much research went into this before I converted my old 88 Civic into OBD1 and it did pull hard as hell with minor mods. But unless the motor is free ???.

even though the B18A from 92-93 Tegs were still B18A they were the exact specifications of the B18B from 94+ Teg. not to much different there except tranny wise. I will post up the specifiactions tomorrow (have no helms in front of me)
