alarm help!!!

Anyone know anything about alarm? Here's the problem, I got my alarm installed awhile back with some automatic door locks for my 93 civic. It works fine until one day it just lock the door and does not arm. The blinking light for the alarm doesnt blink but just stayed lite and the alarm doesnt chirp. The door locks work fine. I tried setting my alarm off manually and it works. Just doesnt arm. It's one of those Clifford G4 alarm.

you may have put the car in valet mode. Not positive on that though, do you have the manual for the car alarm?

yea, I still have all the manuals when I bought the alarm.

look in the manual it should tell you how to turn valet mode on and off, just try turning it off and your car should work fine.

open the door (leaving it open)
arm the car
disarm immediatley
arm it again

the light should turn off and your off valet mode

Most of DEI's crap works the same way...easy stuff. :)

if the alarm has a programing switch, there is another way to take it off valet.

1 = momentary
2 = latched

1-1-2-1 (hold this till the alarm chirps)

at least i think thats what it is.
