motor running really hot?

i have a 93 integra ls, and when i bought it the temperature needle would hover at about 1/4 of the guage after it warmed up and all. i dont know what happened, but it seems like after i put on my CAI, the HGS, and new plugs, it runs at about half the guage now. im just wondering what the deal is. all my fluids are topped, and i dont get it.

my car does the same thing and i posted it on here a while back and never really got a reply. I just think the Gen2's are meant to run a little hotter. my b/f has a water temp guage that i think i am gonna hook up and see what temp it's at. His sat at 150 so im hoping mine is somewhere around there.
