So last night I was too tired to drive and I made my cousin drive. We were going North on Wadsworth when he gets over in the next lane . A Turbo MR2 pulls up beside us with exhaust being the only mod I could see. Both cars took off normal, then gradually increased their speed. Then they both just wound out second and then some of third. The MR2 of course passed us. Since he had his window down I was going to invite him to the site and mention Eric's car, and club clash, but then the hazards came on for a couple of blinks. So when he slowed down, we got up next to him. He wouldn't look over, so I yelled, "Hey!" When he looked, I said, "There's something wrong with your blinkers dude." ;) At frist he just gave me a blank stare, then it hit him what I was talking about and just kind of smiled, I think he got that I was making fun of him. :)

This is the second time I have been beaten in this area going to my cousin's house. Last time was a black 92-95 Civic with I think a swap. He was faster than the MR2, but instead of flashing his hazards, he flashed his brake lights for like 30 seconds. After he beat me, I let some V8 El Rancho, or El Camino or something get up next to him, but he pussed out and wouldn't do anything. Pussy.

WTF is with the hazard flashing anyway? I mean is it really necessary!?
If you know you beat him or you got beat yourself why must you flash the haz? what the hell does it accomplish!?
my friend in his 200sx was trying to pass a riced, not tuned, civic. When I say riced, I mean the quarter paneld were Z3, and black, while the rest of the car was different shades of green courtesy of the sun. And he had a big ass exhaust and a intercooler, not even attached. Ah yes and smoke puring out of his exhaust ( a tuner is someone who knows what he is doing and talking about, and does thigns step by step, like lowering his car BEFORE putting on rims, else it looks likes its been raised)
he was cruising and going UNDER the speed limit so my friend tried to pass him when the traffic let up for alittle bit, he sped up and when my friend backed down, he flashed his damn hazards! Like he won some race or something! Anyway we ended up pulling up next to him at a light and he was over there smiling with his FAT girl friend. who was screamed, " Ha we smoked your ass haha!" And I was telling him that we weren't racing only we have someplace to go unlike them. Fucker has the balls to flip us off and then try and speed away, we right up and I'm sscreaming
"you wanna race!. lets go right now!"
My friend and him both gun it and my friend spanked him by 2 car lengths and going. We pulled up to the enxt light and I was telling him. " Look at us we didn't flash OUR fucking flashers!"

One of two things:

Stupid reason: Rub it in the other person's face that they're behind you after a race.

Legitimate reason: If it's a close race, and especially at night, after a quarter-mile down the road, it lets all the spectators back at the start know who won.

Hrmm..I think EVERY quarter mile I've ever run had a win light. Street racing is ghey. :)

I hit the rub it in button on a RSX-S that would NOT leave me alone. After 5 races, if you're not passing someone, leave them alone!

Yeah, I just run it up to redline at half throttle, so it sounds like I'm trying, then they think they've won and wont bother me any longer. Either that, or I'll get them going, then slam on the brakes and usually turn.

If you beat them or try to ignore them, they'll be bothering you for miles.

Hahahaha. Why won't people just accept the fact that they lost...Whenever I lose, I shake my head and just laugh because it really sucks but hey, it's gotta happen sometime. And that whole hazards thing is funny. Unless you're on backstreets having races with like 1203457 people and they cant' see, it's useful. But like driving on Academy or something, it's pointless and pretty ghey. What has this world come to

When did I say something about not liking that I lost? Did you not read the title?

I never say you weren't liking it. I'm just saying for people who try to do "fly byes" when they lose and all that mumbo jumbo

Oh never mind then. He didn't even loose, because we weren't even racing. I was just going home when he "jumped" me.
