Ran with a 350Z

Don't know if they frequent this board or not, but this afternoon going south on Kipling (lots of traffic) I found a burgundy 350Z wanting a challenge. Did a few pulls, once from a dig, too much traffic to open up the Z, but the results would have been obvious - the 350Z is a quick car, but it's not 13s. Guy was cool though, wanted to know what was under the hood, impressed with how my Z pulls, etc...

I rteally dont like them, I thought they would be more powerful, I dunno, I would rather have a supra or 3000gt, I think the 350z is ugly

I think if you read more into them you will see some of the col things about it. Some people think that they are over priced and over weight at the same time, but they don't realize that if it didn't share it's platform with everyother RWD car currently in Nissan's production line-up that they couldn't include such a sophisticated suspension for nearly as cheap as they do now.

Likewise..I think I see a random TT at a glance that I confuse with them..but there are definately more around. Still a badass car though! :)

actually it's NOT faster than my car. i ran a 15.6. I dont really care. Im not trying to act all badass saying i can beat them, im just saying that i think they would be a little more impressive than that.

Nobody told me they ran 13s. I run low 13s (hopefully 12s soon). The way my car pulled, there was no way the new Z could come close, hence "it's not 13s".

I'm not particularly fond of the new Z's looks either, but I did see the new G35 Infiniti - that's very nice looking.

Ahhh, much clearer now. What year/color/mods on your Z? My friend Ryan in Boulder has that Dark Purple TT (almost black), always in Longmont.

Yes, the G35 looks tough too.

It's a rusty black '78 - stock ZXT motor, hybrid turbo, intercooler, 3" exhaust, and fuel system upgrade.
