We've been engaged for 15 months and we are finally walking down the isle on Sat. at the Broadmoor Hotel. I'm more anxious than nervous. It should be a good time with 150 of our closest friends and relatives. It's been a hectic time and maybe after it... we can spend some of the money we get on modding our cars. :) I think that we are more excited to go to Hawaii next week for our honeymoon. Anyone have some must see's in Maui??? We really don't know too much about it... except on what we read in books and magazines.

congrats! this is a great time to visit maui.
Ummmmmm........ Well as far as shops and what not go. Not much to see! When it comes to peaks like mt. Haleakala it's about a 30 min drive up. If you follow the red dirt trail at the top all the way to the end, you can see over to the next island and the side of the largest mountain in Hawaii Mauna Kea! Beatiful place! Uhhh.. if you want action and excitement... Oahu is the place to go!(the third island from the left!) However, if you're into relaxing and some drinking and some beach and somewhere semi populated then Maui is the place. Not all of the islands have all of these features put together! If you can spare the money spend an extra $300 and give Oahu a vist! Stay in a motel or something not too expensive and party your ass off on the weekends in Waikiki! No Bull----! I've been here most of my life! visited all the islands and well I like Oahu the best( the one I live on)! Oh yeah it gets high 60's high 80's in maui!
Oh yeah! gettem tigger!

Congrats on the marriage! As far as Maui goes it's mainly a relaxing place and the whole point of being there is do very little! When I went last year I did a lot of snorkeling since the reefs and sealife are amazing to look at. When you do want to take a day trip, drive over to Hana. There are all kinds of waterfalls, lagoons that you can stop and swim in, etc. A book that was highly useful to us was called "Maui Revealed: The Ultimate Guidebook." If you can find a copy before you go it's definitely worth picking up. Enjoy the trip!

Congrats! At least when you start having kids you have a nice 4 door to tote them around! I heard the trunk was sized pretty good!

My condolences...er Congrats :) While in Maui, take a scuba trip to molokini crater. It's a volcanic crater that barely breached the ocean surface and tides have turned it into a crescent crater. Tons of modded fish to see :)
If the scuba bug grabs ya hard then do another dive off Lanai at the 'Cathedrals' get to swim thru a lava tube, is awesome!
Otherwise, relax and enjoy the sun!

Hey, we just got back from Hawaii from our honeymoon. I already miss the weather out there. It's good to be back tho. We ran outta money, so we had to come home. Eating in Maui is expensive!
Our wedding went great. We couldn't have asked for a better time. Thanks everyone for your support. :)
