I have nothing but respect for imports that have real drivers, my question is.....a guy who barely sits high enough over his stearing wheel to see, wearing a sideways hat and sunglasses ....at night,...in a celica with a fourty foot wing a 5 inch pipe and a body kit can hate me causei drive a domestic...please explain this to me.

i see your point, but you shouldn't associate that with import drivers, it happens to any car. most of the people here are tall enough to look above the steering wheel, dont wear sideways hats and dont wear sunglasses at night, and most people work hard for their money, dont have ugly body kits and most importantly everyone pretty much respects domestics, some drive domestics too. i am just saying, i hope you werent refering to anyone here...

From my point of view, it seems that most import drivers only hate typical domestic drivers because they are the ones that started all of the trash talking.

There are many domestic drivers that have the inbred hick attitude and get all insecure when they see an import. Some will yell "RICE!" at every stock import, some will want to drag race to show everyone who's car is "better", and others will attempt to actually destroy the import one way or anyother. When I say "duhmestic owners", these are the kinds of people I'm talking about... they're cocky, extremely ignorant, completely insecure, and have no maturity whatsoever. And they just don't get it when you try to be mature about it.

There are many domestic owners that are very cool and I'm happy to associate with, but unfortunately there seem to be more of the duhmestic types than the cool ones. And of course, there are plenty of dipshit import drivers too, and I don't want anything to do with them either.

The whole imports vs domestic thing is really retarded. It's no different that geeks fighting about Macintosh vs Windows, or Star Wars vs Star Trek. It's apples and oranges. You could make greatest points imaginable, but it won't change a damn thing.

I'll buy what I want and be happy. Anyone who has a problem with that is just an insecure child and clearly is not worth my time.

But what can be very satisfying is beating trash talking dumbasses in drag races when that's not even what my car is meant for. Beating them at their own game makes them look pretty dumb. They'll always make excuses and completely lie about it later, but that's why you do it in front of all of their friends... so they know first hand that the guy is a dipshit.

Ive been beat by a gsx but then again ive been a 2000 vette, so my respect goes to both ways...anybody who respects what they got, and knows what theyre doing is cool and id be happy to roll with um.

...umm...well i had a 86 accord' but i got rid of it and bought a 00 trans am. I do all the work myself cause i have access to a lift and get alot of parts for cheap. I want a twin turbo next but money is an issue. Its a dealer promotion car, so the guy that had it before me changed the tranny 3x the, throttle body, The differential, alternator, and something else, just to see what ran best so he could report it to pontiac. Needless to say its not stock anymore. When it came from pontiac it automatically had 345hp and it was written on the rear right bumper. Thats ten more then any normal ws6 with ram air. I took that graphic off cause i changed the car, plus i dont like people knowing what there racing, now the only other graphic is "TRANS AM sevan series" on the driver side door at the bottom. all my mods are mentioned, I do them all myself. I havent gotten a dyno yet but i will soon.

I respect domestics a lot. But at the same time I don't have respect for them. Same with imports. It just all depends on who's driving the car and what the car actually has. If it's some kid with a stock mustang rolling around thinkin it can kill all hondas just because it's "domestic," then there's going to be a problem. Or some kid in a little honda thinkin it's a v8 killer just because he has an exhaust TIP, intake, and lots of stickers, then there's going to be a problem there too. A win is a win, a fast car is a fast car.

But anything thinking it can kill anything just because it has:

-a spoiler that weighs twice as much as the car
-Some wierd body kit (Of course some look cool)
-Exhaust tip and not a whole catback
-Lots of stickers for products they don't have

I'll also race an import, cause they are fun to race and have a totally different sound when they are whining up to 8000rpm and sometimes, ya, they are fast, and sometimes no. That's fine, but when they start swerving lanes, almost causing wrecks, and just being stupid, I hate them. Those are ricers, domestic and import. They can't afford to drop 4 grand in the engine so they buy stickers and wings and swerve in and out of traffic at 100mph trying to show off that they can drive and everyone better watch out.

i dont know about you all, but the oem pedals are great, but for the shifters a skunk 2 throw/short shifter is alot better, but the shift knob, usually the oem's are much heavier so they are easier to throw in my opinion. only reason i like the factory pedals is cause i race barefoot, the track dont like that but hey you got to feel the car yeah, lol. anyway if driving barefoot or in flip flops is rice, then its all me

Hell i've seen a few riced vipers, and i love vipers. Rice is worthless, meaningless crap(wings bought fron united in a desperate attempt to keep them outta bankruptcy, DC sports stickers on a neon, Mopar stickers on an eclipse crap like that).

whats the definition of rice...if a guy wants to run some stickers on his car(god forbid they dont stay on too long) all the better for him......what made the vipers in your opinion "ricey" was it the fact the had some 20" wheel/rim company youve never heard of, a huge wing, or was it the fact that you just may have been jealous..no..envious of what he had?

you know that dc sports makes universal exhausts right, and for that matter all exhausts are universal, im talking just about the exhaust, not the cat-back or axle-back. and mopar, like edelbrock are creating products for a wider market these days, look at the srt4, using a mitsubishi turbo and a cavalcade of mitsu technology...american companies see where billions of dollars are being spent.....moroso stickers on a civic isnt gay, edelbrock stickers on an accord isnt gay, neither is a honda optional equipment on a neon....cause there are people out htere that do radical some radical things, such as a 4G63 powered crx...so try to keep an open mind
