More boost ownz me!

Hooked up an MBC today and cranked up the boost to 15psi. Feels sweet! I kicked a 5.0's ass without the mbc, we went out to find more rice to wail on and it started to rain damnit. Oh well, guess the rice got lucky tonight :D

I completely disagree. How would fuel cut not "own" him on racegas if he makes no other changes? Running over 15psi is no big deal on pump gas. You can do 18psi on a 14B or 19-20 on a 16G no problem.

Fuel cut is easily delt with.

Well, we got the hosing mixed up on the MBC when we first did it and it had uncontrolled boost. I hit 18PSI a few times with no fuel cut. But then we figured it out and im happily at 16PSI right now. Feels soooo much quicker than the 10psi it was before. Track time! I think ive got my mid 14s now :D

Oh and probably with the warmer air now you won't hit fuel cut. I know in my car if it's below 40 degrees I'll hit it with 91 octane but I won't with 100 octane. I'm gonna turn up my boost a little bit in the morning and see how it does with the pump gas and the warmer air.

well, i sat side by side with an S4 when i was stock, and i heard they run mid to high 14s at bandi. With the 17psi i wanna run with 110 i think i can get mid 14s

I ran a 14.41 with only exhaust,intake and an MBC@16psi ..oh yeah,a real clutch too.
I don't recommend this for any longevity so an AFC should be next with a datalogger;you'd be surprised how much knock you might be getting even if the car feels good..

With my 18g I can run 17psi with pump gas with minimal knock but not on a back-to-back drag run and hard driving on hot days will severly effect knock count and timing of course.

I personally have had dreaded fuel cut only once at 17psi and outside temps around 15 F. We'll see what happens at 20psi with the stock MAF and see if I hit another road block.

Youve got the freak MAF paul :) I havent done the rewire yet either, so i get cut when its around 40 out. I only pulled a 15.06 but my clutch was slipping bad and i couldnt get it into 4th, oh well. Time for upgrades!! :D
