I need to insure the new ride, but my old faithful Farmers insurance is going to charge me more than double what I pay for my XS for liability only which is the same price my dad pays for full coverage on his '03 $22K Harley!!!!!!! WTF??
What company do you use? How much? I have a perfect driving record, MSF, good credit etc.
I need it on a '90 Yam Radian 600.......I swear it's not a sportbike!

Look in the phone book for Aspen Insurance in Denver. They are a underwriter. They got me in with a company called Mendota who has me around 60.00 a month for full insurance.
Liability only is a bad idea, bikes are stolen, vandalized ect far to easy.
Also join the AMA you usually get a break on your insurance

I did end up going with Progressive, they were damn cheap, even less than the '81 XS. I only pay liability because the bike is not worth that much and if it does get totalled/stolen/etc. I will just absorb the cost and be happy that I didnt put all that money into inurance.
