View Full Version : 350z vs the black brick
I raced this guy on wads tonight in a white 350z. first came up beside him then he decided to go busting ass past the police station so I just chilled back and waited for a red light got one and pulled up next to him, gave the guy a thumbs up and revved it up. Light turns green and I get mad wheel spin and torque steer but pull on him and make a good gap up to about 70-80 mph and shut down. guy does the pattented ricer flybye like a sore ass loser and then cuts me off.
white 350z guy, if you read this I have just 2 things to say to you...
1. Here at hai we are gentlemen and we really frown down on bitch ass ricer flybyes by sore ass losers.
2. How did it feel to get your ass handed to you by the grub getter?

nice kill. the Z's are ok quick, but not real quick, particularly with bad drivers, but they do look sweet as hell on the outside. I'm still not entirely sold on all of the inside.

that's a mental picture I REALLY did not want LOL. I'd do it so long as I can boost it to about 100 PSI through the turbo, instant spool via nitrous, air conditioning (it's hot in hell), and a built in hooka to refresh those old high school days that are long long since gone.

Hey now theres nothing wrong with a 350.Its sweet looking and with a turbo kit in it im willing to bet that it will smoke a lot of cars out there. Not that I own one or anything.Too much money for my ass.For now ill just stick with my 7 twin turbo. Its fast enough and way cheaper.

Ok ok you got me there I guess youre right.Im so fuckin bummed out right now though. My rx 7 is sick as hell.It barely wants to start and then it runs like shit and stalls out.I already changed out the fuel pressure regulator because the engine was flooding. But somehow i dont think it fixed the problem.Ive changed so many parts out already im starting to go broke man.
Im thinking of taking it to mazda. But I already know theyre gonna kill my wallet.Anyone know of a good rotary specialist around here in the springs?

hmm, if it wasn't the fuel pressure regulator, did you check your injectors? Perhaps one or more of them got stuck open.

Didnt think of that.Probably cause its a bitch and a half to get to the injectors.I love my car but damn it sure sucks to work on it.No friggin space.I wonder how the hell the japanese put the damn thing toghether in the first place.Well ill check the injectors. Is there anything else that can cause a flooding problem? And if one of the injectors is stuck do i need to replace it or is there a way to unstick the bastard?Thanx

not for sure on the injectors. I guess your best option would be to replace them and maybe get some bigger ones, particularly if you've upped the boost significantly over stock. Tobi AKA Honda Ghandi would probably be able to tell you if there is anything else that could cause flooding even though he's a honda guy.

Sweet kill Ryan!
Nah, I think they suck too. Ugly as well. It's like they made a Celica and an Audi TT mate. I like the way both of those cars look though. It's also slow and overpriced imho. Just like the previous Z cars were. :rolleyes: I used to test drive Z cars down in Phx back in the day so I know. Nissan should just quit screwing around and send us the real stuff. Like you know, a Silvia?!
I can't wait to kill a 350Z momma's boy and say, ;OwnEd;

Hey ex civ thanx for the info.Im probably gonna save up 400 smackers and just replace all my injectors. You know how it is though.Ive put a lot of money into my car and now i wanna be able to enjoy it.Eventually ill get it running and when I do its gonna be sweet. But for now all I can do is look at it and wish I could drive it.It sux.

hey man, it was just an idea about the injectors. I don't want you to save up the money and have it not fix the problem. Perhaps a trip to a master mazda tech is in store for you. Good luck! :)

Hey man,
I'll race you whenever you want, that way you can feel better about yourself and feed your over inflated ego. Just let me know when you are ready.
